Choosing the Loan That Is Right for You
We want you to have the information you need to make an informed decision about your mortgage.
Federal law prohibits a Loan Originator from directing or “steering” you to a particular loan because the Loan Originator would receive more compensation from that loan than from another loan option you were offered or could have been offered, unless the loan you choose is in your best interest.
“Steering” means advising, counseling, or otherwise influencing you to choose a particular loan. Your Loan Originator may discuss different loan options with you based on your financial situation, your needs, your preferences, and the loan programs for which you are likely to qualify. LegacyFirst Mortgage prohibits its Loan Originators from steering consumers to a loan based on compensation.
When applicable, LegacyFirst Mortgage will compare your selected loan with other loan options available through LegacyFirst Mortgage or lenders with whom LegacyFirst Mortgage regularly does business and for which you are likely to qualify.
The number of loan options available to you may vary. You may not receive three options if, for example:
Loan Options Available Through LegacyFirst Mortgage
LegacyFirst Mortgage offers a variety of mortgage loan programs. The options available to you will depend on your financial situation, the property, your loan purpose, and the loan programs for which you qualify.
LegacyFirst Mortgage does not offer every type of mortgage product or feature available in the marketplace. For example, LegacyFirst Mortgage does not currently offer Reverse Mortgages.
A company other than LegacyFirst Mortgage will disclose, close, and service the loan.

Your Loan Originator can explain the available options and help you understand the differences between them. You are ultimately responsible for deciding which loan best meets your needs.
After reviewing the loan options presented to you, you may choose the loan that you believe best meets your needs and financial circumstances.
